On Sunday we went for a lovely walk to enjoy the landscape around Puttenham and to learn about wild plants. Jim guided the walk and I was impressed with his knowledge. Here are some pictures of the plants, and the proprieties that they have attributed. If you decide to use them, please consult with an expert and your doctor.
On Saturday I participated in a Pop Up restaurant in Dorking, Surrey. The idea was to use the local allotments to provide food for the event. It was organized by Steve Edgar, and what a success! The evening was terrific, the tickets all sold out and there was a waiting list. I volunteered to prepare a raw food dish as the starter, a rainbow salad. Have a look at the pictures…
Below is a panorama showing the beautiful church in Pixham where the event was held.
Phew, what a week! My website has gone live, I’ve just returned from the fantastic Anamchara where I delivered a class to some lovely people, and I’ve just received my copy of August’s Natural Health magazine. This is a great nationwide glossy crammed with great content, and I’m very happy to announce that there is a three-page spread featuring recipes from the Raw Deli!
Make sure to pick up a copy!
