Why Raw?

To make the most of the food we eat, we want all the nutrients and enzymes from it. As cooking food destroys up to 100% of the enzymes and over 80% of the nutrients, a raw food diet is the best way to keep your body properly nourished and to keep you feeling great!

What is raw vegan food?

‘Raw food’ is classified as food which hasn’t been heated over 45 degrees centigrade, this preserves the essential nutrients and enzymes we need. As such, a raw vegan diet consists of fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, pulses and seeds combined in an infinite number of delicious ways.

What are the benefits of eating raw food?

As we get all the nutrients and enzymes we need when we eat raw, we don’t have the need to over-eat. Please check out these links to see personal experiences of people who went on a raw diet:

Why are enzymes so important?

Living foods contain large amounts of enzymes and water. These enzymes break down the nutrients for us, allowing them to be absorbed into our bodies far easier. As we get older, our natural enzyme store diminishes, making it all the more important to get additional enzymes from our food.

How much variety is possible with raw food?

Raw food can be amazingly creative and can be enjoyed by everyone, from children to barbeque addicts. You can have soups (even warm ones), ice-kreams, cakes, lasanga, great dips, shakes, granola, cookies, pizza and more, much more...

Where do you get protein from?

Green veg, sprouted seeds, nuts and grains are all loaded with protein which our bodies find the easiest to absorb. Please find more information at the following link:
